Ich suche den Punkt auf der Funktion

Die Funktion lautet

f(x)= x⁴ -29x²+10

Problem/Ansatz:

-170 = x⁴ -29x² +10

Wie löse ich jetzt weiter nach x auf? Vielen Dank im Voraus!!!

-170 = x^4 -29x^2 +10

x^4-29x^2+180 = 0

Substitution:

x^2= z

z^2-29z+180= 0

z1/2 = 14,5+-√(14,5^2-180) = 14,5+-5,5

z1= 20

z2 = 9

x1= ±√20 = 2*√5

x2= ±√9 = ±3
