(x-y)-(x+y)=-2y, aber warum wenn x-x und -y+y jeweils 0 ergeben?

Warum kommt bei (x-y)-(x+y) -2y raus wenn bei Klammerweglassen x-x und -y+y stehen würde? also x-y-x+y. Mir wurde gesagt es heisse dann x-y-x-y was dann -2y wäre aber das klingt unlogisch für mich

(x-y) - (x+y)

= x-y - (x+y)    | -( ... ) können wir schreiben als +(-1)*( ... )

= x-y + (-1) * (x+y)   | und dann das Distributivgesetz anwenden

= x-y + (-1) * x + (-1) *y

= x-y + (-x) + (-y)

= x-y - x - y

= x - x - y - y

= (x - x) - y - y

=     0    - 2y

= -2y
